Balkon film is established in 2009 by Faysal Soysal to produce short, documentary and feature films in therms of artistic potential. Company interests much poetic and arthouse images with social-cultural issues then politic messages in film productions.
We would like to work on feature film in international area which focus on multi-cultural intersections that depict new meaning about human and universe. Until this time we produced 3 feature films and documentary series from Africa Countries (Kenya, Uganda, Zanzibar, Somalia, Kongo), Balkan countries (Bosnia, Macedonia) and from Middle East( Iran and Palastine) for Television which depict especially human rights and cultural heritages.
Beside of Film Production Balkon Film also is the main coordinator and founder of International Amity Short Film Festival and company owner Faysal Soysal is Festival President.
